From a simple home stable yard to a commercial stable block, Chapelstone can work with you to design, construct and install stables that incorporate the features you desire. Our optional Planning Service relieves you of some of the tedium and red tape involved with a stable build, and our Visual Concept 3D drawing bring your ideas to life, enabling you to see the design and fine-tune the details so that you can be confident that the finished construction will be just what you envisage.
Our basic construction methods and finishes are of an extremely high quality. You will have stables that will look good, work well, and give you and your horses years of service.
“Seven years on, the stables still look like new…”
Using our many years of experience as stable builders, and the expertise of our designers and craftsmen, we can offer guidance to ensure the result is an equestrian facility that not only pleases the eye, but is well laid out, practical, and encompasses all the small details that make a big difference. Take a look at just a few suggestions of some finishing touches.

Solid timber kickboards
Our standard kickboards are solid timber. This means they hold their shape and if kicked hard by a horse will not give way to create a flap which may trap the horses hoof. They are also easily changeable.
Overhangs lined with shiplap
As well as giving a superior, attractive finish, our overhangs will be longer lasting and won’t sag like plywood overhangs tend to do.
Treated with preservative inside and outside
All Chapelstone timber building will be treated with a preservative on the inside as well as the outside. This maximises the protection given to the timber.
Colour Coded Guttering
We don’t just stock one colour of guttering and down pipes. We match the colour we use to the finish of your building, making it more aesthetically pleasing.
We have carefully sourced the best ironmongery we can, as we know this equates to strength and longevity, and less possibility of breakages.
Machine pressed chew strips
We only use machine pressed chew strips, which leaves a finer finish. Chapelstone do not hammer a strip of metal into place and hope for the best.
